Another unique place to add a room is over your garage. Take a look
& see if your house can be configured for this type addition. I once owned a colonial style
house which is perfect for this remodel. On the first floor was a single car garage with a den
behind the garage. I added two bedrooms, a bathroom & a laundry room over this area. My
house then had five bedrooms, two bathrooms, a laundry room & one half bath. We lived
