How To Add an Addition or Do Major Remodeling to your
Home
How to remodel at Lower Cost
"This is not a can of beans you are buying. You can't take the
addition back to the contractor & request a refund!"
Homeowners are paying too much to add to their
home
It was unsettling to see homeowners fumbling around as they were investing a large sum of
money. I know they were because I watched them. I have built every type of home addition you can
imagine & observed them for 25 years. I saw them stumbling around in a subject they new almost nothing
about. Homeowners understand a lot about buying food, clothing, automobiles & a host of other
consumer goods but they know very little about buying home additions.
Homeowners are at a big disadvantage.
Jewelry dealers, art dealers, fur dealers to name a few have built up a
reputation of trust. You can usually rely on a jewelers diamond recommendation & you can believe a
furrier when he tells you that the coat is worth the asking price. You can see it, touch it & try it on.
You know what you are buying & confident that the price is fair.
Home additions do not come in a box all wrapped up & ready to live
in. You cannot see it, touch it or use it until finished. Each one is custom made to your
order & the number of choices that make up the addition are staggering. Trying to get the most for your money
is a very difficult thing to do but I will make it a lot easier.
Why I wrote the books
I created these books for homeowners so they can get a better deal from the
contractor, have a better looking addition. When finished the new addition will have
added maximum value to your house. I wrote the books because I think I have information that
will help the homeowner. There are 10 books to choose from:
Now you can look over the shoulder of a retired contractor & see
how contractors charge out your addition without you being aware of what's going
on.
Here are 5 reasons why you can rely on what I say
1. I am a former owner of a home remodeling business. (The business is
still flourishing) For 25 years I sold, supervised & office managed over 1000 home
additions.
2. I have been in over 5000 homes giving homeowners estimated costs for their
planned home addition & smaller remodeling. That means I have met with over
10,000 individuals to discuss their home remodeling plans.
3. I have built every type of home addition you can imagine.....and I have never
built the same addition twice. That's because each homeowner makes their own individual choices and they are
never the same as the last addition.
4. I have enough experience to know what I am talking about. Homeowners insist on buying
one of the biggest purchase of their lives without knowing what they are buying.....or not buying. They try to
learn but they do not know how to ask the right questions. They wind up making poor choices in elements of the
addition or choose the wrong contractor. They pay too much for what they receive. Too often they
are disappointed with the final results after spending very large sums of money.
5. Finally, I have no axe to grind. I am not trying to sell you a room addition. I have no
reason to steer you wrong. I am retired & my home remodeling selling days are over. My only purpose is to help
you through the maze of critical choices that have to be made & to save you money & aggrevation when
building your room addition.
Here is a quick list of some of the benefits you will find inside the
books:
After reading any one of these books you will learn how to add more value to a
home & save at least few thousand dollars
